When I look back it was me naively thinking it’s going to be only cool. In context, I remember it was November 2020 when I founded Hayrapetyan Business Consulting (HBC). This way, you’ll follow my own story, on the basis of what I agree with Ben. In this article, I’m going to cite Ben and insert my own comments on his statements. One of those books I've recently read was “The Hard Things about Hard Things” by Ben Horowitz, and it turned out to be one of the best books about entrepreneurship I’ve ever read. With the high quality of each book, the knowledge gained is immense. By only spending an hour per day reading books, I’m able to read 2 books a month, in total 24 in a year (nothing special, yet each one of them is worth gold).

So what did I decide to do? I read ONLY all the books he recommends as “worth reading”. He reads a book a day and writes concise reviews every month on his Instagram page. The person whose judgment on this matter is at substantial height (yet not limited to this subject only), and whom I could trust for 100% percent is Oleg Braginsky. When I figured out it’ll take me about 3-5 years to fully master speed reading, I had to decide what is the optimum amount of books I’m able to read in a year (while running HBC full-time, producing educational videos every single day, and running an online course). There are many, thousands of books published annually, yet our time and attention are stolen by other forms of media daily.
